Make plans now for Friday, March 22nd! The Four Peaks Burger Battle is the place to be and it’s for a good cause! Some of Arizona’s top culinary talent will be on the scene. This benefit is brought to us by the Scottsdale League for the Arts and every event they do is worth attending. Check out the great time we had at Cooks & Corks and Brunch with Benefits.
On the Scottsdale Waterfront
Scottsdale League for the Arts brings us burgers with benefits with an impressive lineup of judges, local celebrities and 15 contenders presenting gourmet burgers. There’s also going to be plenty of fries, milkshakes, craft beers and goodies to keep everyone happy.
The Judges
This year’s judges include 101.5 LIVE radio personality Joey Boy Rodriguez, Suzanne Clark from World Food Championships, Write on Rubee founder and food writer Christina Barrueta, professionally trained chef and food influencer Kyndra Kelly of Kyndra’s Kitchen, Elite Associates corporate chef Robert DeSantis and Burger Boys Club founder Mike Weinstein.
The Golden Ticket
The judges and culinary experts will select the Judges’ Choice Best Burger. There’s always a People’s Choice Best Burger too. Event guests are encouraged to cast their vote in the People’s Choice competition. The winner will receive a Golden Ticket to the World Food Championships.
Jaime Cerreta
Emmy Award-winning journalist Jaime Cerreta emcees this year. Cerreta is well known for her passion for Arizona food and culture through her reporting on 3TV and CBS5.
A Little About The Contenders
Participating restaurants and chefs include 2018 Burger Battle People’s Choice Award-winner and Chopped TV show champion Executive Chef Tommy D’Ambrosio of Aioli Gourmet Burgers, ranked No.6 burger in the World Food Championship ranking.
Sedona’s Chef Lisa Dahl of Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill, last year’s Judges’ Choice Award winner and past People’s Choice Award winner also returns.
Hotel chef participants include Executive Chef Russell LaCasce of ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho and Executive Chef Donald Molinich of Asadero Cocina & Cantina at Doubletree Resort by Hilton Hotel Paradise Valley-Scottsdale.

More Than Just Burgers
Besides the traditional burger from various, delicious amazing meats, for you vegetarians, there will be veggie burgers available too from Burger Theory and BurgerFi. We are particularly excited to see Frites Street offering their amazing goodies too. City Bakery, new to Arizona, debuts beer pretzels and dessert pastries. Milkshakes crafted for adults by Four Peaks and by Petersen’s Old-Fashioned Ice Cream and Cafe and additional desserts by Asadero Cocina & Cantina.
About Four Peaks
The craft beer experience at Four Peaks Burger Battle features the Arizona debut of the brand new Four Peaks BrewPod. Four Peaks brings the ambiance of their 8th Street brewery in Tempe to the Burger Battle in the ultimate in portable ambiance. It’s crafted from a repurposed shipping container. Sample eight Four Peaks beers in this mobile taproom that has the familiar look and feel of Four Peaks’ iconic location.
21+ Entertainment, Live Music and Lawn Games
Four Peaks Burger Battle is an all-inclusive event for ages 21+ with burger tastings, fries, milkshakes and beer. There will also be live music by The Walkens; lawn games; and more.

VIP tickets are $85 for private lounge seating and bar, and early entrance at 6pm. General admission starts at 7pm. and costs $65. Get a 15% discount by using our code dianna4arts good for up to 4 tickets. Scottsdale Waterfront at Southbridge is located at 7135 E. Camelback Road, Scottsdale. Plenty of parking is available in Nordstrom’s garage at Scottsdale Fashion Square.
