A Profile About Shawn Helton
Tell Us About Your Business Before COVID-19
I have over two decades of experience in the salon industry. I honed my skills working for Salon Molecule. I am also a one-time winner of the North American Salon Of The Year in Washington, DC. I worked at the nationally recognized salon Immortal Beloved, which has been featured in a number of style magazines over the last decade.
Through handcrafted individual design work, I create wearable cuts with both soft and vibrant color placement. At Rebel Rebel, my focus is to complement each guest, whether their personal style is modern or classic. I specialize in popular dry-cutting techniques, softly textured shapes and painterly modern color placement.
How Has Your Business Profile Changed Since COVID-19?
Rebel Rebel is a brand new salon studio at Sola Salons in Old Town Scottsdale in a very safe and clean environment. All popular methods of sanitization, PPE and moderate distancing are being implemented.
What Else Has Changed Since Coronavirus Has People Staying Home?
Everything! Before COVID, I worked at Sachi Salon in Scottsdale for five years. I started Rebel Rebel in June 2020. I am now available for appointments Wednesday through Saturday 11a – 6p. Prior to building business in Scottsdale, I regularly traveled back east to service my devoted clientele in Washington, DC.
What’s The Best Way To Reach You
How Can The Community Help During COVID-19?
I would love to be able to connect with new clients in need of a hairstylist. Additionally, it would be great to have an opportunity to run a cross-promotion with other local businesses in Old Town Scottsdale.
What Are You Grateful For
I’m most grateful for my family during these uncertain times. Although this has been an incredibly challenging period in our lives, spending quality time with my wife and daughter has meant the world to me. I’m also very grateful for my health and the health of my family. Additionally, I’m grateful for what life holds next!
Know Another Business That Needs Help?
